After last Friday's cancelled use-up-holiday holiday it was nice to get a day off at last, with a very damp trip to B&Q, them to the station, then to some shops, then home to dry off and temporarily paint over the bad orange ceiling before heading back out by foot and rental-cycle to more shop. I didn't get to any galleries or cinemas but they can wait until lunchtimes next week.
