STILL LIFE

On the dresser, although my life wasn't very 'still' today, spent a lot of time doing this and that ..........  cooked some beetroot, died some luggage labels in the red water and stamped brown paper with circles of cut beetroot;   why you ask?  beetroot circles are the base of my C wrapping paper which will be finished off with red, gold and green shiny paint??? (I have done this before but with half a potato, not beetroot) and it does look quite effective .....  and very homemade!! The finished accompanying beetroot-died labels with lace and words will be vintage - hopefully..........

Cooked beetroot is on the dinner menu this evening!
