Bath Christmas Market

In Bath Abbey this afternoon, one of the sidesmen said to my BC friend and I, being local why on earth had we chosen to come into town on a Christmas Market Saturday, were we mad? Yes, we were!

But even the heaving masses weren’t going to stop us making our annual visit to the Abbey for one of their Christmas Shoppers’ Carol Services (see extra); a tradition we were determined to keep, followed by a traditional mulled wine and mince pie at the market. As dusk fell, the twinkly lights came on and, as the song goes, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
