Quiet Time

After collecting the monsters from school we headed off to Aviemore with them for the weekend.

We were delayed just a few minutes from home due to BMW  aquaplaning on the motorway bouncing off the central barrier and spinning across onto the hard shoulder. Nobody seemed to be hurt and it was only the one car, but of course it caused tailbacks both directions due to the rubber-neckers.
There was another tailback north of Knockhill …...rubber-neckers on our side - road closed on the other due to a trailer having been flipped over (probably by the wind).

After booking in to the hotel was had some quiet time with the kids and their first game of Scramble as they kept calling it.
Then it was buffet diner and bed for the kids
