Beetle @ The Beach

We got up early/ish to head down to the beach......it was shaping up to be a scorcher....not only that ......smoke from surrounding fires have obscured the mountains mostly from view....the weather is still very crispy.

There was a lovely cool breeze down at the beach......the kids frolicked and I just enjoyed pootling along the rock pools with my camera.
Beetle is my main shot today for several reasons.......one because he is just gorgeous teef n all......but mostly because even though I often call home the ‘nutjob’..the ‘clown’.....the ‘monster’...in actual fact he is the most loyal and loving little guy one could wish for.
For a while he will follow me around while I take pics...then he will dash off down the beach to make sure the kids are ok.....dash back....dash off again....he has to know we are all OK and protected..........he really is an unusual mix.

Unfortunately though the beach were we all like to play had big signs saying NO DOGS put up......I’m bummed...now he and I have to go to another beach where the kids can’t swim.....so maybe no more pics like the extra.....BOO.
