Taxodium distichum

I love the fox fur russet colour of my new Swamp Cypress tree.
I planted this deciduous conifer in the Spring on the soggy bank in our garden as it grows on saturated/waterlogged ground. Apparently the roots will buckle up above the surface and produce a nobbly root system which I am looking forward to seeing.
