Stained glass beauty

While singing at choir rehearsal this morning, I kept looking at this pretty window on the other side of the chancel, which the sun was brightening in a delightful way!
Then off to buy some compost for planting five bare rooted rose bushes which arrived yesterday! This afternoon F and I were digging and clearing the ground for some of them until it was almost dark, but it was very good exercise and then lovely to come into the warm kitchen for a hot cup of tea!
I like roses to grow among other plants, but some of those big,tough hardy geraniums have just had to go!
