Narnia?

Didn’t meet Mr Tumnus this time. The light came on this lamppost as we walked past this afternoon - they didn’t at the village Christmas lights switch on though!
As we were walking back into the village we saw a flash and some smoke, seems that an electricity sub station ‘went bang’ cutting off the power in the village centre. We were told that the Parish council will try to rearrange the official switch on.
Update - it seems that it was a pylon fire which caused the problem.
