Tumbleweed Christmas tree

Tonight I attended the annual tumbleweed Christmas tree lighting ceremony in downtown Chandler. I had meant to check out this "tree" for years but never went. So here it is. Isn't that funny? It's definitely weird Arizona stuff.

I typically stick to downtown events, so a suburban festival was strange to me. There are tons of families and way more activities for children than what I usually attend. It was odd.
