Warwick Poppies

We visited the commemoration of the centenary of the end of WWI, at St Mary's Church in Warwick. Striking displays on the outside (like the example here) seem to have been fashioned from plastic bottles. Inside, more than 62,000 more handmade poppies - knitted, crocheted, stitched, or snipped into shape with pinking scissors - arranged beautifully across the church.

We shall not forget.
