Sunset from Surprise View

An eleven kilometre run with some great company. Tricky icy conditions in places underfoot and a hard climb up to a summit where I was greeted with the "kind old sun" in all its raw majesty vainly trying to heat the earth before sinking beyond the horizon. Magnificent.
