Church Reading

Having missed the tunnel crossing at 11.45 last night (see yesterday's Blip for details) we finally got on to the 01.30 shuttle getting home at 2.30 am. Then a brief unload and to bed at 4.am. Talk about plum tuckered. Waking at 9 and then starting the big unload of all the stuff. Bikes, chairs, garden table, TV, garden statue. And that's just for starters.

Mnaged to get the van back to the hire centre in the afternoon and time for a quick cuppa before going to Waltham Abbey to hear Felicitas perform their Christmas recital.

It was actually very relaxing with gorgeous music washing over us in the beautiful Norman abbey church (see extra). At the interval I noticed this lady intensely reading her novel. I assumed it was the programme until I got nearer. 

Gosh what a full on day. But an easier one tomorrow on the cycling club Christmas dinner run.
