When You Get the Urge .....

..... you just have to follow it:-)  I got the urge to do some baking today after reading about so many other blippers doing just that.  With a freezer full of apples, it had to be an apple cake of some sort.  This doesn't look quite like the picture on the card because it called for sliced apples and all mine were in chunks, but I have to say that it turned out very well and tastes fantastic:-)  We had some tonight for dessert, still warm and with cream.  The rest is going in the freezer or we will just keep eating it:-)

It's our daughter's birthday today, so a pity she couldn't be here to enjoy her slice of the cake:-)  Can I really have a daughter that age?!!!

Had to wait in for a parcel and a sofa bed today, so couldn't go out to enjoy the sunshine, which was a shame.  The sofa bed was bought from Gumtree and was even delivered to the room upstairs where it is needed by the previous owner and his friend.  Great service and we are delighted with the item!

We managed to make a start on the Christmas cards this evening and will post some earlier than usual because of our change of address.  So annoying for friends if they get the new address just too late!
