Christmas Pizza

The day started off pretty rubbish with #northernfail cancelling the train before mine which means an walk down to Shipley to give me more chance of getting to work on time. Their excuse today... signal failures.. Not sure how that affects just the one train, nor how they knew half an hour before it was due to leave Skipton.. in the end I was only 5 mins later, only to be wound up again by equipment failure and lack of communication...

The day got better mostly and ended well with a lovely evening in The Hop with our WI book group for festive eating, drinking and novel discussion.
This month's book was the Sealwoman's Gift a fascinating story of pirates, slavery, religion and love based on true events of Iceland's history that we knew nothing of.
