Javelin, Hammer, Discus and Shot Throws

Ellie and I made our way to Southend this afternoon to complete the latest events in our Olympic Challenge. We both had the afternoon off, so went down a bit early to have a cup of tea with G's parents, then a wander round the shops. Then it was time to head to Southend Athletics Club at the amazing Garon's Park stadium. Everyone at the club was so helpful and coached us through the javelin, hammer (which was fairly terrifying), discus and shot put throws.
