Goodbye my beloved friend, mother-in-law and comrade-in-grief. I’m so glad I could be with you for your final weeks, days, breaths. I will miss you. I know there will be so many times when I’ll want to ask or tell you something. Your unwavering support has been my backbone. Your sense of justice, your humour and your faith, my inspiration. There will be a void that I will try to fill with the thought of you reunited with Bill and your darling boy.
