Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly!

The other day it was a Ladybird coming out of hibernation  -  see it HERE!, today it's a Butterfly.  Late to bed and come 1am was still awake, to find this Butterfly fluttering about inside the lampshade.  It was quite a dance to capture it, but eventually managed a couple of shots. I think he's a male! This is a good Website that explains their hibernation behaviour.  He disappeared into the kitchen  -  probably found a nice corner to get back to hibernation mode☺
