In Brief, for once...

Scottish Day

So, it's November 30th. Every year I think, "Oh it's St Andrew's Day!". Then, so what? If I say it out loud, people are like, "his do you celebrate they then?"
I have to say I don't know. We never did anything.
When you are a Scot abroad though, these things always seem more in your face.

Anyway. This year, by pure coincidence, I found myself at the ice rink, learning how to curl, and it seemed a fitting way to spend out national day, if not traditional, with the shortbread from yesterday's blip as a snack afterwards .

As a matter of interest, does anyone know or have anything they actually do specifically because it's St Andrew's Day?
