Kelpies

After a morning trying to locate medication for Chloe we headed to the Kelpies for a walk.

We were told by the ophthalmologist last week that we could go to any chemist and buy the eyedrops as humans used them as well. Not so....... a prescription is required. Asked the nurse at vet’s how much they sold it for. £31 for a 5ml teeny weeny bottle!!!! She then explained the vet could give us a prescription and we could get it at a local pharmacy for £15 !!! Asked if there was any alternative/ if we could get a bigger bottle. Still awaiting a reply!

Yes, we could put it through our insurance but I was quite willing to pay for this over the next few months until we see where this is going. I also phoned another local pharmacy and their price was £8 but it was out of stock!!!! The difference in price for these eyedrops is shocking.

Wee Annabelle brightened our morning . She was here with Fifi and Auntie Ali called in too.

Looking forward to Mrs Wilson tonight. What a story!
