Christmas is coming!

It's the first day of December and I finished painting the advent house just in time (phew!). It turned out al-right, not perfect but I like it. (I have to say the design idea was stolen from Rebecca ;) ) It was a bit of a faff, though, so I wish to be reminded of this fact the next time I think it will be a brilliant idea to do anything this ambitious again (with two littlies running around, anyway).

Cleo loved it and I think this will be the year that Christmas really clicks for her and we can introduce her to new and exciting traditions (we better come up with some quickly)! She loved opening the first door and finding treats for everyone inside (Mommy won't be left out when there is chocolate involved, thank you... luckily the compartments are quite large). Of course she wanted to open them all then and there but so did I. :) We resisted, though, as the anticipation is almost as good as the chocolate itself. Almost.
