A varied day!

I m late writing this again.
Today we went for a walk through the park into our local town. It was so good to be out once more on a day which started off frosty, but  as it gradually became a little warmer, mist began to rise like fine steam, a watery sun seen through a fine white film.
We had a coffee stop and came  back on the bus.
This evening along with 4 other friends we caught the train into Birmingham, about 25 minutes from here down the line.
The Frankfurt Christmas market is in full swing.
Our objective was  the GowlingWLG Advent Carol service at 6.00pm in St Philip's Cathedral. The choir all work at the legal firm, in various capacities. Hubby still works there as a Consultant. (Keeps him busy!)
The concert is a fund raiser for the chosen charity of the year. This time for Alzheimers.
It is the 5th one we have attended. The choir are superb. There are seasonal carols for everyone to join in between choral pieces and  readings, both secular and Biblical. It lasts just an hour, when mince pies, mulled wine, and soft drinks are available.
For me, Christmas begins here at this point. The cathedral was filled with family and friends.
Once home, we learned that the MP's in Parliament have decided that the Government is in contempt of Parliament!
All is chaos. A week away from another vote on Teresa May's Brexit deal.............a lot is going to happen before then.
Photo is St Philip's Cathedral this evening.
Extras of the market and the concert.
