Hit by a bus

This afternoon whilst walking to an office in Stratford with a colleague, I was hit by a bus! We were chatting away and were on the pavement and the bus hit me from behind as it was swerving into a bus stop.
I was knocked to the floor and have a grazed hand and a very large purple bruise on my upper thigh where the bus struck me.
What’s also a bit odd is that friends and family have tended to laugh when I told them.
