Heading home

We went out west to participate in the “blooding” of J’s new kitchen. Now that the splash back behind the cooktop has been installed, the gas fitter has connected the gas, and her kitchen is fully functional. C and her boys were also there, and it was a very pleasant evening..

On Great North Road just past New Lynn is what appears to be a stalled building project. I haven’t noticed any progress in many weeks. Tonight, as we headed back to Grey Lynn, I stopped and got this photo.
