Christmas star

The Christmas star or poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) is a plant from the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae). The species originates in Mexico but is cultivated a lot for the ornamental value. He is mainly bought in the temperate regions, including the Benelux, for Christmas.
