That's G in the distance with his umbrella. We have all the waterproof gear that we need and still he uses an umbrella. I have zero tolerance of umbrellas in the countryside.
Is it interesting living through a constitutional crisis?
Earlier this year, when discussing Brexit with by Brexiteer sister-in-law and I offered her some (government collected) statistics she stated that the statistics wee gals and she didn't believe them. I saw the same behaviour from a Brexiteer on Ch4 News last night, who talked over and wouldn't listen to an academic in race relations who had collected police statistics and government and charity statistics that demonstrate that acts of racial abuse and hatred have increased since the referendum. The Brexiteer claimed that the statistics were false, presumably because they didn't suit her argument.
What worries he is that she was allowed to get away with her argument and Ch4 didn't follow this up afterwards. I guess people have always rebutted information that doesn't suit them, but I've never seen it so starkly until now.
It's impossible to do physio exercises whilst listening to Radio 4's Sorry I Haven't A Clue.
