A Box of Chocolates

Forest Gump said in the film "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."  

The same could be said for managers.  I've been very lucky in my career and two managers at the very beginning of my career gave me confidence, gave me a chance and believed in me.  They were mentors, coaches and I'm now proud to say, friends.  I met up with one of them today and had lunch in Cardiff.  It was a good catch up with Denis.

I could add friends at this point as well, but then I could be here a while.  Friendship means a lot to me.

Weather has been dreadful today, the drive to Cardiff was terrible.  There were a couple of incidents, where people had aquaplaned and hit other cars or the barriers.  The amount of people driving without lights on as well is a big concern.  Why do it?  Idiots!
