Thomas in his Christmas assembly

We got up early to get down to Whitley Bay for Thomas’s Christmas assembly. The road down our hill was treacherous as there had been a heavy frost overnight, then rain which caused black ice. It was a misty 0 degrees and the rain was freezing on the windscreen.

180 children from Years 1 and 2 sang songs with actions. Each class had 2 songs. It lasted over an hour. Thomas’s class sang about the Christmas pudding. He looked very sweet!
