Figs, books and mulled wine

Well, what else do you do with such a dark day - and I mean darkness literally, not metaphorically (though they might not agree in Westminster!).  Heavy clouds, rain, rain, rain!

However, mulled wine, small but very tasty figs and a good book.  What could be better than that?  Actually, this isn't the book I'm reading at the moment, it was just in a nice set with pretty covers.  Since you ask, I'm reading Wonderland by Brett Westwood and Stephen Moss, 'a year of Britain's wildlife day by day'.
