A Christmas horse

A visit to Speedgate Equestrian in Fawkham today where I saw this magnificent life size model of a horse with some unusual riders. He had a lovely array of Christmas presents at his feet but I had to crop them as that part of the picture was very blurred.

We then went to Bluewater Shopping Centre for a browse and a meal. It was quite busy and will no doubt get worse as Christmas approaches. I managed to buy a book for a secret santa gift but that was the sum of my Christmas shopping. That will be my last visit there in 2018.

The traffic has been horrendous since late afternoon. Our "quiet" lane has been gridlocked for some hours. As the M25 is at a standstill and thd A20 closed again, the satnav drivers follow the directions along a few miles of single track lanes. Ian was stuck for almost an hour just 400 yards up the lane. It was chaos. No one was going anywhere. And this was nothing to do with BREXIT or a Backstop.

Maybe it's a ploy to keep us all at home. Not a bad idea, really.
