Testing a new umbrella

I tested out my new umbrella today when I walked up to Old Surgeons' Hall  for a meeting and back again.  It coped OK with rain, but didn't do too well in the wind.

Meanwhile the Old Veterinary Surgeon Hall is still with us - just. My middle sister has been sending me updates by text on and off all day. I have a bag ready in case she would like me back in Northumberland to help with my soon-to-be-widowed mother. For the time being however, the middle sister says that I should just stay put. This is just as well because I have classes to teach tomorrow...

Exercise today: none of note (again!) - 8908 steps.
