Winterwonderland

It snowed yesterday the whole day. Softly the snowflakes kept falling. In the end the world was white with fluffy powdery snow and it was amazingly silent. All the noise that a big city creates had disappeared.
So today slowed many activities down: schools started later, our friendly cleaning lady canceled and I enjoyed a lazy morning indoors. By the time I had to drive over to meet Paul, my friendly pedicurist , the streets had all been cleared of snow.
