Not for the squeamish

Couldn't resist today's selfie as my date with destiny at Moorfields eye hospital for my corneal transplant finally arrived. Was impressed by their rigorous procedure to make sure no mistakes were made as to which eye. Anyway all seemed to go well. The sedation gave me a zen-like calm and I passed the time thinking of mountain streams and green meadows. Now it's just a waiting game to see if my eye likes its new friend.
