Scottish Day

I've seen lots of ladies in hats -- some fancy; some very practical. But this lady takes first prize in my book. Not only was her hat amazing, but she wore it with absolute class and elegance, along with a full length tartan kilt -- while in a wheelchair.

I spotted her as part of the city of Alexandria's Scottish walk today, so I unfortunately didn't have a chance to chat her up. Would have loved to know her story for she is surely a 'grande dame.'
