Improvement!

Both in the design and the photography. The photo I posted yesterday certainly didn't do it justice. And, she has played with the design a lot more now, and this is what the final will be. This photo shows off the oriental fabrics much better. This is only a small part--just the upper left hand corner. I'll have to do the whole when she gets it all sewn together.

And, I misinformed you yesterday about the design wall. It's not a sheet that she puts up there, it's a large piece of Warm & Natural quilt batting tacked to the wall. With that, you just slap the pieces up there and they stick. There is no pinning and you can move them around very easily until you get them the way you want. She was laying them out on the living room floor, but this works so much better. This way she can stand back and look at them much better than on the floor, and you don't have the family walking on them. And, she can leave them and walk away, and come back later for a fresh view. Works great!
