The Little House in France

We are staying with my cousin in the Loire Valley for a few days before heading south.   She lives in a beautifully converted barn in a rural village close to Chinon.  The barn used to belong to a little old French house inhabited by an old lady who had lived there her entire life.   It didn't have hot water or electricity when they bought it.  The house has been left largely unchanged as the barn conversion is now the main residence.  It is very damp and run down but wonderfully old and French and now serves as my cousin's art studio.
