Afternoon Tea with Friends

Tony went in to Leeds with Mary this morning to see her safely on her journey back home.  Meanwhile, I did a couple of housey jobs before friend Helen arrived to take me to afternoon tea with friends Jean, Verity and Julie.  Taylormade Treats put on another good spread, with a starter of cauliflower soup followed by trays of mixed sandwiches and plates of yummy cake goodies.  Much catching up was done and Christmas plans shared.  At one point we all taught in the same school and now we are all comfortably retired.
