The Shore Path before the First Gate
11.5C with cloudy morning with occasional showers. Brighter as the afternoon wore on.
S/SSW/SW/WSW/W wind to 24 mph with gusts to 36 mph.
After lunch Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard and wandered out the shore path to Slaty Farlan and on out the new path towards the second gate. The path between the shipyard and the first gate is covered in seaweed and stones in several places and in one or two places damaged by the recent weather. I have not seen anything like that before.
As we were walking out towards the second gate the tug Anglegarth came in through the channel and crossed the loch. It will be here to help the ship which will come for the wind turbine sections on the new quay to turn and dock.
