Bosco and the Nuns

Our friend RG became a nun a few years ago. She was Rae's best friend, and it took her a long time to get over her leaving. Since then, RG has become Sister Maria, and she is very happy. Rae still loves her dearly, but has also moved on with her life.

Rae had the idea of making some nuns to send the community (who are situated in North Wales). I am a bit of a perfectionist, as well as a 'crafty' person, so I kind of took charge and designed these little nun decorations. We finished them last night and now they are packaged up and ready to send off.

Bosco seemed quite interested in them.

It's been incredibly warm today (around 28 degrees); I've loved it.

Tired now and going out to tea. Apparently the wine has just been poured.

P.S. The nun at the top is Sister Maria; she's a Novice, so wears a white veil instead of the usual black one.
