Reptile encounter

This was a huge and scary 3 metre lizard I found in the garden... only joking, it was a 6cm skink, of which there are about 1,000 (or more) in my garden alone. It was lazily basking in the sun on a rock and kept closing its eyes. I love the way it blends so perfectly with the rock. They normally move very quickly when they see/hear someone coming.

Went for a walk down by the Yarra in Warrandyte, and saw some lovely cute fluffy ducklings and also took photos of the usual suspects (butterflies, flowers, spiders, grass etc etc), but thought this was a bit more scaly.

Really big lizard
