Sunny Day

A perfectly lovely day today: clear blue sky, warm sun, birds singing. It began with a brisk morning walk with Alan up to the UCSC campus before breakfast, followed by knitting with Susan in her backyard, watching her Blip-famous hummingbird, and all the other sights and sounds there, until the sun dipped below the trees. Then it was inside to make a really, really great pasta dinner using their new pasta machine.
