The Unexpected

A trip to Quarry Bank and Styal this afternoon. Three times we had a kestrel nearby but twice I had my camera away due to the rain and the third the light was that poor that I just got a dark outline.
However as we we walking along the higher path above the mill, a large house that is situated behind some hedges in a field caught our eye... yes this statue was in their garden! along with a girraffe and a rhino that I couldn't get a clear shot of from the path.
well it's certainly different from a garden gnome...!
