The bird and the mouse

In the middle of the night, that cat that lives here brought a bird into our room and proceeded to mutilate it. The darkness disguised the cloud of feathers that filled the room, but I could tell there was something bad going on outside the bars of my cage. 

Later, the cat brought a mouse into the room. I think because the cat had already scoffed a bird, it just used the mouse as a toy and batted it around the room in the darkness. But the mouse was wise, and found sanctuary inside my cage. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of mice and didn't like that. So I started woofing, with some howling mixed in. 

It wasn't long before the door clicked open, the light was switched on, and my owner rescued me, and then the mouse. 

I don't like that cat.
