Silly me!!!

Several days ago someone posted details on our local FB page of a steam train due to pass by today so I screenshot the details so I wouldn’t forget.

Today I was up and left in plenty of time to get a stance on a nearby bridge. Got there, checked both sides of the road then checked the timetable to see how long I had to wait...about 6 minutes...looked up and the train was hurtling towards me at a rate of knots, all I could do was stand and watch!!

So no steam trains in my photo today...just the aftermath of one having passed through!!

At least the sun was shining, thanks to admirer for hosting :)
