Christians and neo-fascists

We had a full-on tourist day in Rome visiting some great locations. It was very busy being The feast of the Immaculate Conception, a national holiday.  Getting off the metro in Flaminio we found the nearby piazza full of people being 'entertained' by deputy PM Salvini. The Spanish Steps were closed off awaiting their annual papal visit. 

This statue on the Altar of the Fatherland building and is I think,  Strength,  Concord, Thought (with seagull).
