Eryngiums
I awoke to the rat-tat-tat of heavy rain on the windows, so the plans I had for a journey break at a National Trust property on my way home to Mum in Kent were put on hold, and I spent the morning "playing" with Doll's House related activities. However, come lunchtime blue skies were appearing, so I took a chance and started my journey with a stop off at RHS Wisley.
The gardens were remarkedly quiet, and I had a lovely relaxing lunch and wander round. I really liked this backlit shot of the seedheads of some Eryngiums growing through grasses.
