In Which There Is Cheesecake!

My most significant accomplishment for Saturday was the baking of a cheesecake! I used the standard Better Homes and Gardens cheesecake supreme recipe, and it turned out quite well. Yes, that's a lot of eggs and cream cheese!

This is what the cheesecake looked like when it came out of the oven, all puffed up and lovely. After that, I let it cool for a while before I put it in the fridge.

My husband was begging for cheesecake long before it was cool enough to eat. "You didn't tell me it was a TORTURE pie," he admonished me, miserable with cheesecake hunger, several hours before I finally allowed that it might be cool enough for us to sample. :-)
