winter in the woods

A pleasant day starting with a nice lie in and then my first attempt at baking bread, it went quite well it looked like bread tasted like bread (always a good sign) it was not as light in the middle as I would have hoped think I may have used a bit to much flour next one will be better...... after that we all put on out outdoor gear and went for a walk around Tiddesley wood in pershore looking for some pine cones I want to make some pine cone seed type bits for the birds in the garden and the wife wants to decorate some for the Christmas tree we found a quite a few but they were not open so they are currently. in the oven getting a little helping hand

wild life wise we had a bit of a treat today

blue tits
robins
coal tit
1st ever tree creeper
green woodpecker
and the best bit a deer running through the forest I have seen them before in country estates but never in the wild wild all were to fast for me to blip with the camera so today's blip is from the only thing that was not to fast for me......

must get a longer lens in the sales.....
