Spooky Cooling Castle

I was visiting family in the back of nowhere today and I had in mind a picture of the entrance gate to Cooling Castle, but once there, I remembered that the owner, Jules Holland, had put up cheap wooden fences to discourage wedding photography from the venue next door!

So my photos were not particularly clean and pretty, hence playing in lightroom to silhouette the castle against the sky. I also liked the way the rooks flying around looked a bit lite bats.
