The Cathedral Express

Today there was another steam train special excursion to the city for the Christmas market . So after a nice steady lazy morning we headed into town to wait for it to arrive so we could grab a few shots of it. This one was a Black 5  steam locomotive built in 1945. I decided to go with this shot  looking down on it as it moved up the line slightly as we looked down from the footbridge over the track, I like the fact that you can see the roaring fire from this angle . A visit to see Jeri and the boys this afternoon , now back home getting ready to go out for a few beers  this evening as no work in the morning. We are going to visit the TIPI bar which I blipped the other week.
