One of Santa's little helpers

As you can see we had lovely sunny weather in Humshaugh today. I managed to have two walks.

Judith was on her way to deliver a Christmas card to our house as I was leaving for the first walk. She is always cheery and loves strong colours. She told me that this hat has been the starting point of many a conversation with strangers over the last few years.

My first walk was as far as the village hall and the second to the White House.

By the time I did this and my exercises, the day was well over.

I managed to cook a proper meal tonight with veg and gravy.
